The Blinking Smart
Stop has been developed to provide an eye catching
feature of your third brake light, especially
designed to attract attention to you and your
vehicle while braking. It has been designed for
easy installation and detachment. Will
work with any standard bulb as well as LED
lighting technologies.
With the Blinking Smart Stop Standard
Module installed,
when you apply your brakes, it causes your center
high mounted third brake light to automatically emit
a visual alerting signal by flashing the light
approximately 6 times before entering the
steady-state on red light condition.
The
Blinking Smart Stop is a visual
aid that alerts the driver following .
Both the Standard and "Delay"
versions of the Blinking Smart Stop lets you maximize your
Third Brake Light Effectiveness.
The Blinking Smart
Stop Delay Module is the same as the standard unit but with a
"Delay-Repeat" circuit built in,
Delay version was specially designed for those drivers
who might not want to continuously flash their third
brake light, when caught in bumper to bumper traffic.
Once you have applied your brakes for the first time
causing your third brake light to flash and then turn
solid, touching your brakes again within 8 seconds will
cause your third brake light to turn on normally without
flashing. In other words, you must have your foot off
the brakes for more than 8 seconds before the
Blinking Smart Stop will reset and cause your
third brake light to flash again.
With the Blinking Smart Stop installed,
when you apply your brakes, it causes your center
high mounted third brake light to automatically emit
a visual alerting signal by flashing the light
approximately 6 times before entering the
steady-state on red light condition.
These
sequences have been selected because of its
ability to gain and retain a following driver's
attention.
